If you care about your vehicle the same way I care about mine, then this is some wisdom I can offer. As you know, the weather in Louisiana can be harsh on a car, new or used. Rain and hard tap water can cause water spots on the paintwork and windows and if you do not get into it very quickly, they can cause heavy staining on the exterior of your car. This means you will have to restore the exterior paintwork.  There is no such thing as “too much” when it comes to detailing. If you have the funds to do a weekly or bi-weekly plan to keep your car in a tip-top showroom condition for the rest of its lifetime, then that is the way to go. You can get your car detailed once a week, and it will not damage your car. Routine cleaning of your car’s interior and exterior will extend your car’s life. Regularly protecting your car’s dashboard, leather, fabric, and paintwork from the elements is a very good thing. Routine maintenance is better than the cure. A bi-weekly cleaning/detail at least every 2 – 8 weeks is a good idea. Waiting too long to get your car detailed after purchasing it or waiting months between detailing services will cost you more money and will deteriorate your car’s value fast. A well-maintained car will save you money. Obviously, not everyone can afford a weekly or bi-weekly maintenance plan. In order to be considered a maintenance detail, it must be done within a maximum time span of 8 weeks. The shorter the time span between sessions the lower the price will be. A weekly plan will be much lower in price than a bi-weekly plan, and a monthly plan will cost you less than a bi-monthly plan. After 8 weeks, the price will be the same as a full detailing service. The cost of detailing a car that has sat in dirt and grime versus the price of a maintenance detail cannot be compared.

Save Money! Drive a well-maintained car.
